Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Inspects Election Preparations in Bao Lam 1 Commune
On the afternoon of March 2, Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Deputies Delegation of Lam Dong Province, conducted an on-site inspection of election preparations in Bao Lam 1 Commune.

Accompanying the Provincial Party Secretary were Pham Trieu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Nguyen Khac Binh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chief of the Provincial Party Office; Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; along with leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

Inspection of Polling Stations and Voter List Posting
The working delegation inspected polling stations in Hamlet 15 Loc Thang (Election Unit No. 4), and Hamlet 2 Loc Ngai (Election Unit No. 6), Bao Lam 1 Commune. Polling venues have been arranged at local cultural houses to ensure accessibility and compliance with regulations.

Both polling sites were decorated with flags and banners in preparation for the upcoming election day. Preparatory work has been carried out in a serious and methodical manner, strictly adhering to the established timeline.

The posting of voter lists and summarized biographies of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term has been completed in accordance with legal requirements.
According to the Bao Lam 1 Commune People’s Committee, following the administrative reorganization, the commune now comprises 39 hamlets with a total of 31,140 voters. In the upcoming election, Bao Lam 1 will establish 10 election units with 32 polling stations.
Local authorities are intensifying communication efforts and finalizing remaining tasks to ensure all preparations are completed on schedule.

Directive Emphasis on Thorough and Proactive Preparation
During the inspection, Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam acknowledged and commended Bao Lam 1 Commune for proactively developing detailed election preparation plans, particularly in communication and voter information dissemination.
He requested the commune to closely adhere to the approved schedule and fully implement all tasks in accordance with established procedures.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized the need for comprehensive contingency planning, requiring local authorities to prepare detailed preventive measures and response scenarios for potential arising situations.
He further underscored that supervision must be strengthened to ensure the election is conducted fairly, transparently, democratically, and safely. Any emerging issues must be promptly reported, with appropriate handling measures proposed to avoid passivity or delays.

Given the commune’s broad administrative area with 39 hamlets and a significant workload, the Provincial Party Secretary urged local leaders to maintain close coordination at the grassroots level, strengthen regular communication, and sustain online connectivity mechanisms to facilitate timely information exchange and problem-solving.

The overarching objective, he stressed, is to ensure that the election process is conducted in strict compliance with the law, on schedule, and under conditions of absolute safety.
