Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam inspects election preparations in Da Lat
On March 11, Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and head of the Lam Dong National Assembly deputy delegation, conducted an inspection of election preparations in the Da Lat area.

The inspection team also included Major General Truong Minh Duong, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police, along with leaders from the Provincial Party Office and the Department of Home Affairs.

At Cam Ly - Da Lat Ward, the Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary inspected preparations at polling stations in Van Thanh and Yet Kieu residential groups.
At both polling locations, preparations were carried out in line with the planned schedule. The polling areas were decorated with flags, flowers and banners, creating a formal and festive atmosphere ahead of election day.

Lists and brief biographies of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term were publicly posted, along with voter lists, polling station regulations and election procedures.
According to the Election Committee of Cam Ly – Da Lat Ward, the ward has nine electoral units and 13 polling stations. The latest review shows that the ward has 32,262 voters. Local authorities have largely completed the distribution of voter cards.

The Provincial Party Secretary later inspected polling stations in Tay Ho 1 and Xuan Thanh residential groups in Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward.
Each of the two residential groups has between 1,300 and 1,600 voters. As many local residents are engaged in business and trading activities, authorities have arranged polling stations at convenient locations to make it easier for voters to cast their ballots.

Following the on-site inspection, the Provincial Party Secretary highly praised the election preparations at polling stations in the two wards.

The Provincial Party Secretary instructed local authorities to continue reviewing voter lists and update them where necessary. Information about candidates for the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels must be fully posted to ensure voters have access to all relevant details.
Local administrations were also urged to intensify public communication efforts through various channels so voters clearly understand the time, location and procedures for voting.

Grassroots authorities were asked to mobilize socio-political organizations to support communication efforts and encourage voters to participate fully in the election.
Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam particularly emphasized that the people are the ultimate holders of state power through elections, while urging local authorities to ensure adequate facilities and equipment for election day.

Local authorities must continue reviewing preparations to ensure polling stations are arranged in a solemn and proper manner, in line with regulations, and that voters are provided with the most convenient conditions to exercise their voting rights. Supervision must be strengthened to ensure the election is conducted in a fair, transparent, democratic and safe manner.
