Lam Dong Pushes Strategic Pillars for Sustainable Growth
In recent years, the Lam Dong Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center has taken a proactive and flexible approach in coordinating with departments and agencies to expand investment promotion channels, provide policy and market information, and support investors nationwide. The center has also created favorable conditions for businesses to access information and make investment decisions.

As Vietnam’s largest province by area—covering about 24,233 square kilometers and home to nearly 3.87 million people—Lam Dong boasts rich natural and cultural resources. Its strategic location at the crossroads linking the Southern Key Economic Region with the South Central Coast and the Central Highlands positions the province as a promising hub for socio-economic development and a growing destination for both domestic and international investors.
Based on its strengths, Lam Dong has identified four strategic economic pillars: international-standard tourism, high-tech agriculture, green industry and clean energy, and the marine economy and logistics.
In 2025, in particular, the province unveiled a list of 118 investment projects across multiple sectors, including tourism, urban development, industry and energy, agriculture and forestry, transport infrastructure, healthcare, education, and trade and services. Most projects rely on non-state capital, with expected foreign direct investment reaching around USD 1 billion. Looking ahead to the 2026-2030 period, Lam Dong plans to roll out 326 additional projects designed to fully leverage its local advantages.
Priority is given to eco-tourism, smart agriculture, and clean energy—sectors aligned with sustainable development trends that also help protect the environment and improve residents’ quality of life.
Beyond investment promotion, the center has strengthened trade and service promotion through cooperation programs with major domestic localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Dong Nai, as well as international partners including South Korea and India. These efforts aim to help local businesses expand markets, attract partners, and enhance Lam Dong’s visibility.
According to the center, promoting Lam Dong is not merely about publicizing investment opportunities, but also about demonstrating the province’s commitment to transparent governance and effective, practical investor support—setting the foundation for a stable, open, and attractive investment environment.
