Lam Dong Signs Cooperation Program to Develop Human Resources in Culture, Sports, and Tourism
On the afternoon of April 23, the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a signing ceremony for a cooperation program in culture, sports, and tourism for the 2026–2030 period. The program was signed with the Department of Education and Training, Da Lat University, Yersin University of Da Lat, and Da Lat College.
Strengthening links between education and key sectors
The cooperation program aims to leverage the strengths of all parties, enhance management efficiency, and improve the organization of activities in culture, sports, and tourism in connection with education and training, contributing to the province’s socio-economic development goals.

According to the agreement, the parties will strengthen coordination in organizing cultural, artistic, and film-related activities; promote school sports movements; and expand experiential, research, and tourism promotion programs.
At the same time, emphasis will be placed on comprehensive education, raising awareness among students about preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.

Promoting human resource development and innovation
A key highlight of the program is the integration of heritage-based experiences into education, such as “museum lessons” and “heritage site classes,” along with competitions, festivals, and cultural, artistic and sports clubs. Students will also be encouraged to participate in major provincial events as volunteers and tourism promoters.

In addition, the parties will collaborate on training and developing high-quality human resources for the culture, sports, and tourism sectors; promoting scientific research and digital transformation in destination marketing and tourism product development. Efforts to identify and nurture sports talent among students will also be prioritized.

The program will be implemented from 2026 to 2030, with a close coordination mechanism, along with regular reviews and evaluations to ensure timely adjustments and improved effectiveness.
The signing is expected to establish a sustainable partnership between state management agencies and educational institutions, contributing to the development of a healthy cultural environment, well-rounded human development, and the promotion of Lam Dong as a dynamic and culturally rich destination.
