Lam Dong Solemnly Holds National Ancestors Incense Offering Ceremony
On the morning of April 26 (the 10th day of the third lunar month), Lam Dong Province solemnly held the National Ancestors Incense Offering Ceremony at Au Lac Temple in Prenn Waterfall Tourist Area, Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward.

Reverently honoring the nation’s roots
Attending the ceremony were: Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Ho Van Muoi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Dang Hong Sy, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province; and Bui Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The event was also attended by leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives from provincial departments and agencies, the armed forces, religious organizations, businesses and schools; as well as a large number of residents and visitors.

The ceremony opened with the traditional palanquin procession and offerings to the Hung Kings at Thuong Temple. Within the sacred atmosphere of Au Lac Temple, traditional rites were conducted solemnly, expressing profound gratitude and reverence for the ancestors who founded and defended the nation.

Strengthening national unity
In the ceremonial address, Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of the Hung Kings while emphasizing the special significance of this year’s commemoration as Lam Dong continues to strengthen its administrative structure under the two-tier local government model.

He affirmed that Hung Kings Commemoration Day is a sacred spiritual and cultural symbol, serving as a unifying force for the great national solidarity bloc. Wherever they may be, Vietnamese people always look toward their roots.

The key message emphasized by Lam Dong’s Party Secretary was the continued promotion of patriotism, solidarity and determination to build Lam Dong into an increasingly prosperous and beautiful province, contributing to the nation’s broader development and prosperity.

Preserving and promoting traditional cultural values
Following the main rites, delegates, residents, religious dignitaries, ethnic communities, youth and students took turns offering incense in tribute to the National Ancestors.
Provincial leaders then continued offering incense at Trung Temple and Ha Temple before participating in the festival section, which featured a variety of distinctive cultural activities.

Hung Kings Commemoration in Lam Dong serves not only as an occasion to honor the nation-building contributions of the Hung Kings but also as a meaningful event to spread traditional cultural values and reinforce community solidarity.
The ceremony also serves as a platform to showcase Lam Dong as a culturally rich and dynamic region actively contributing to national development.
