Lam Dong to Discuss Strategic Development Issues at the Provincial Workshop
The scientific workshop themed "Lam Dong Province's Development Model: Potential and Breakthroughs" scheduled for May 30, will focus on major strategic issues related to the province's development orientation in the new era.

According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the workshop will be co-organized by the province and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, with the participation of experts, scientists, business representatives, and managers to exchange ideas and propose development strategies.
The workshop will focus on evaluating Lam Dong's development model in the context of expanded development space, identifying its potential, advantages, and bottlenecks, and proposing solutions to create new growth drivers.
Key issues to be discussed include the development of the bauxite-alumina industry toward deep processing and a circular economy, renewable energy development, high-tech agricultural value chains, green and circular tourism, and digital transformation in local governance.
Together with key economic sectors, the workshop will discuss growth model innovation, regional connectivity, high-quality human resource development, improved public governance efficiency, and investment attraction mechanisms suited to the province's new development context.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the workshop's outcomes will be synthesized into policy recommendations for developing the province's socio-economic development strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2050.
The workshop will be held on the afternoon of May 30 at the Tea Connect Event Center at Tea Resort Prenn in Xuan Huong Ward, Da Lat. Co-organized with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the event is expected to draw about 120–150 delegates.
