Lam Dong to host vibrant activities for the 2026 Year of the Horse Spring Festival
The Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has unveiled a comprehensive program of cultural, sports and tourism activities to celebrate the 2026 Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse).

According to the plan, a series of events celebrating the Party and the Spring Festival will be held across the province. Highlights include the Spring Flower Market and Tet shopping fair themed “Lam Dong – The Great Highlands 2026,” scheduled from February 9 to 13 in Nam Gia Nghia Ward, and the 2026 Spring Festival running from February 16 to 26 at Zone A, Tran Quoc Toan Park in Xuan Huong-Da Lat Ward.
In addition, art performances for the public and tourists will take place from the first to the fourth day of Tet at key venues in Da Lat, Phan Thiet and Gia Nghia. A Spring Press Fair themed “Spring – The Source of Victory” will also be organized at three branches of the provincial library.
Sports activities during the festive season include the Lam Dong Traditional Martial Arts Tournament celebrating the 2026 Spring Festival, the Ta Cu Mountain Cross-Country and Mountain Climbing Race, and the qualifying rounds of “Race to Legends” under the framework of the Vietnam Legends Festival 2026 at Da Lat Golf Course, Xuan Huong-Da Lat Ward.

Throughout February 2026, the Lam Dong Arts Theatre and the Dak Nong Geopark Cultural and Management Center will stage 15 art performances and organize 25 mobile film screenings to bring cultural activities to local communities.
On Lunar New Year’s Eve, a special art program celebrating the Party and Spring, marking the 96th anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, will be held simultaneously in 3 areas, accompanied by low-altitude fireworks displays.
These activities aim to create a joyful and festive atmosphere welcoming the New Year 2026, while contributing to tourism promotion and reinforcing Lam Dong’s image as a safe, friendly and attractive destination.
