To ensure traffic safety and public order on New Year's Day 2026, the Lam Dong Provincial Police Traffic Force has developed and implemented a traffic control and patrol plan for key routes.
With a four-day continuous holiday for the 2026 New Year, a high volume of tourists is expected to travel to major destinations such as Da Lat and Mui Ne. This heightens the risk of congestion and traffic accidents.

To maintain traffic safety and public order, the Traffic Police will focus on implementing professional measures, mobilizing the maximum number of personnel and vehicles to conduct patrols, inspections, and handle violations on national highways passing through the province, including National Highways 20, 27, 27C, 28, 28B, National Highway 1A, and National Highway 14.

The traffic control efforts focus on violations that directly cause traffic accidents, including drink-driving, drug use while operating vehicles, speeding, dangerous overtaking, improper lane use, illegal stopping and parking, overloading, and carrying more passengers than permitted.
Moreover, the Police Traffic coordinates with other police forces to monitor the situation and regulate congestion.
Officers and vehicles are also deployed at hazardous mountain passes and steep roads, including Prenn Pass, Mimosa Pass, Gia Bac Pass, and Dai Ninh Pass, and remain on standby to respond and assist promptly to any road incidents.
