Lam Dong wins 7 medals at Vovinam National Championship.
After a dramatic week, Lam Dong's Vovinam team secured 7 medals.
The tournament started from 7th to 15th September with around 350 athletes from 22 different provinces, cities, and majorities across the country.
Lam Dong's team had 13 athletes and won one gold, two silver, and four bronze medals after one week of competition.
According to the tournament rules, athletes compete for 48 sets of medals across two events: the Kata competition, which offers 22 sets, and the combat event, which offers 26 sets. Lam Dong participated only in the combat event.
Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “This is a prestigious, high-quality tournament in Vietnam Vovinam. It lets experts pick top athletes for the national team for the upcoming international events.”
