Lam Dong won four medals at the 2026 National Judo Championships
Lam Dong’s judo team has won four medals at the 2026 National Judo Club Championships.

On April 6, the Lam Dong Sports Training and Competition Centre reported that its 24-member judo team secured four medals at the 2026 National Judo Club Championships.
Especially, Ngo Minh Thanh (born 2009) won gold in the men’s 50kg category, while Huynh Tran My Uyen (born 2012) and Nguyen Thanh Hoan (born 2006) each took bronze in the women’s 40kg and men’s 66kg events, respectively.
The team also secured a bronze medal in the women’s team event, with athletes Huynh Tran My Uyen, Huynh Tran My Ha, Dang Thi Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Thuy Thuy Van and Le Phan Diem Quynh.

The championships took place from April 1 to 7 at the Can Tho Sports Training and Competition Centre, attracting more than 500 coaches and athletes from 17 clubs nationwide. Athletes competed for 30 sets of medals across individual and team events, including sparring and kata.
This competition serves as an opportunity to assess training programmes and prepare athletes for the 10th National Sports Games and upcoming international judo events in 2026.
