Coastal projects positioned as new growth drivers
At the meeting, provincial officials outlined progress on a series of strategic investment projects along coastal corridors, particularly in areas along DT.706B, Hoa Thang and Bung Thi – Ta Kou routes. These zones are identified as central to Lam Dong’s long-term marine economic strategy.

Authorities said the coastal belt currently hosts 19 priority projects covering roughly 22,038 hectares, drawing attention from major investors conducting feasibility studies and site surveys.
The proposed coastal economic zone, combined with large-scale developments, is expected to create a new growth pole and support a structural shift toward a more modern, sustainable economy.

He urged local authorities to intensify efforts in public investment disbursement, conduct a comprehensive review of the two-tier governance model after one year, and clearly define responsibilities across agencies.
Difficulties must be categorized clearly. Issues under local authority should be resolved proactively, while those beyond should be coordinated with relevant ministries.
