Lien Khuong International Airport Welcomes First International Flight After Resuming Operations
Lien Khuong International Airport in Lam Dong welcomed its first international flight on September 2 since resuming operations following a temporary closure for repairs to its runway and taxiway.

AirAsia flight AK571 from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, landed at Lien Khuong International Airport at 10:58 a.m. on September 2, carrying the first international passengers back to Da Lat – Lam Dong after the airport resumed operations.

At 11:40 a.m., flight AK572 from Da Lat to Kuala Lumpur departed, marking the resumption of regular international air services at Lien Khuong International Airport.
The restoration of the Kuala Lumpur–Da Lat route helps re-establish a direct air link between Lam Dong and Malaysia, while creating favorable conditions for tourism, trade and the arrival of international visitors to the province.
Notably, the first international flight to Lien Khuong took place on Vietnam’s National Day, September 2, adding a special highlight to the country’s national holiday.
