More Than 330,000 Young People Join Summer Volunteer Campaigns
On September 23, the Lam Dong Youth Union held a conference to review the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. The campaign attracted more than 330,000 youth union members and young people, who carried out 304 youth projects with a total value of more than VND13.4 billion.

The initiative included the "Exam Support" program and four campaigns: "Green Summer," "Red Flamboyant," "Pink Holiday," and "Green March." The focus of the activities was on developing new-style rural areas, environmental protection, childcare, supporting local communities, and executing grassroots-level task.
Within the framework of the new-style rural development initiative, 607 volunteer teams with over 19,000 youth union members and young individuals carried out 210 projects, with a total investment of nearly VND1.3 billion.
In five border communes, 377 teams consisting of more than 11,000 youth union members and young people conducted 477 rounds of support and mobilized nearly VND600 million in resources. Their efforts were geared towards illuminating border roads, supporting livelihoods, caring for children, protecting the environment, providing health screenings, and assisting residents in accessing public services.
A highlight of this year's campaign was the stronger emphasis on digital transformation in volunteer activities. According to the provincial Youth Union, 87% of participating young people took part in activities to improve digital and science and technology skills, 70% of young people used online public services and 80% used electronic payment accounts.

Along with these successes, the Lam Dong Youth Union observed that certain initiatives were carried out inconsistently, and several projects showed weaknesses in sustainability and had limited potential for being replicated.
In the future, volunteer efforts will transition from temporary assignments to initiatives with specifically defined beneficiaries and locations, measurable results, and lasting benefits for communities.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Youth Union presented Certificates of Merit to 72 collectives and 84 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
