Marine sports attract international visitors
In 2026, Mui Ne was listed among the world’s trending destinations thanks to its favorable natural conditions for marine sports.

With strong, consistent winds throughout the year, Mui Ne has become a popular destination for international travelers passionate about kitesurfing and windsurfing. Many visitors choose to extend their stays to fully experience the area’s diverse activities.

Dong Liang, a visitor from Canada, said he initially planned to stay in Mui Ne for only a short time but ended up staying for four months and has returned several times since. “The favorable weather, welcoming locals, and excellent training services have greatly helped me improve my skills,” he said.

Visitors can currently take part in short kitesurfing lessons that last about two hours and cost roughly VND 1 million. After completing the training, attendees have the option to practice on their own or rent equipment by the hour.
According to various international travelers, riding the waves provides a feeling of liberation and offers a unique experience that sets Mui Ne apart from numerous other beach destinations.

Russel, a traveler from Russia, shared, “I’ve known this place for over 10 years and always make an effort to come back whenever I can. Riding the waves brings happiness, freedom, and an amazing sense of control.”
