Safe and Vibrant at Peak Season
According to the Ham Tien–Mui Ne Tourism Management Board, the destination welcomed 1,970 overnight visitors between February 14 and 18, including 1,734 domestic and 236 international arrivals. Peak demand began on the second day of Tet and is projected to continue through the sixth day, with total arrivals estimated at around 10,000 during the peak period.
Province-wide, the coastal tourism area received more than 450,000 visitors over the holiday. Average room occupancy across Lam Dong ranged from 80 to 85 percent, while the 3–5 star segment achieved 90–95 percent capacity. In Tien Thanh Ward, occupancy exceeded 85 percent, with many upscale properties fully booked since December 2025.

Economic Implications
High occupancy rates across mid- and high-end segments indicate strong revenue performance during the holiday period. Early bookings and full-capacity operations at premium resorts demonstrate improved market confidence and effective destination branding.
The steady recovery of international visitors, combined with stable domestic demand, positions Mui Ne as a resilient coastal tourism hub. The Lunar New Year results provide a positive outlook for 2026, particularly in the high-value resort and experiential travel segments.

With stable governance, price transparency and service standardization, Mui Ne is consolidating its role not only as a seasonal destination, but as a competitive, year-round tourism economy in Lam Dong Province.
