National School Sports Games 2026 Conclude in Lam Dong
The 2026 National School Sports Games concluded in Lam Dong after 10 days of competition, bringing together more than 2,200 student-athletes from across Vietnam.

The tournament took place from June 20 to 30, attracting more than 2,200 student-athletes from 30 provincial and municipal Departments of Education and Training nationwide. Competitors contested five sports: swimming, table tennis, badminton, athletics, and traditional Vietnamese martial arts, with a total of 214 medal events.

After eight days of competition, the tournament concluded successfully, meeting all competition regulations while ensuring safety. The event promoted physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and the comprehensive development of students in line with the education sector's objectives.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Director General of the Department of Student Affairs under the Ministry of Education and Training and Head of the Organizing Committee, praised the athletes for their sportsmanship, unity, and determination throughout the competition.
He noted that the National School Sports Games serve not only as a sporting event but also as an opportunity for students to exchange experiences, strengthen friendships, and promote physical education in schools in line with the national campaign "All People Exercise Following President Ho Chi Minh's Example."

Nguyen Van Thanh expressed confidence that the spirit of fair play, integrity, and perseverance demonstrated during the tournament would continue to contribute to building a comprehensive educational environment that fosters both physical development and character building among students.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented commemorative flags to delegations achieving outstanding results in each sport.
The Ho Chi Minh City delegation won the overall championship in all five sports.
The Lam Dong delegation claimed second place in table tennis and traditional Vietnamese martial arts, joint third place in athletics, and an encouragement prize in badminton.
