Phu Quy gets ready to welcome visitors for the upcoming holiday season
Authorities on Phu Quy are preparing to receive visitors and ensure safety during the upcoming Reunification Day and International Labour Day holidays on 30 April and 1 May, as well as the 2026 summer peak tourism season.

Authorities have been asked to play a more proactive role in state management of tourism and closely coordinate with specialised agencies and tourism businesses to ensure security, safety, and service quality across the area. Public awareness campaigns should also be stepped up to maintain a friendly, healthy, and civilised tourism environment and encourage respectful conduct toward visitors.
Regular inspections and supervision of tourism service providers — including accommodation, food services, travel agencies, and transport operators — must be carried out. Violations such as failing to meet business conditions, incorrect price listings, overcharging, aggressive solicitation, and fraud must be strictly handled.
Authorities should also receive and resolve tourists’ complaints, publicly announce hotline numbers, and assign staff to directly handle feedback in order to prevent misinformation that could damage the local tourism image.
Plans should be implemented to launch environmental clean-up campaigns and improve landscapes along roads leading to tourist attractions and beaches before the April 30 and May 1 holidays, as well as the 2026 summer peak travel season. In addition, more cultural and sporting events should be organised to promote the tourism image of Phu Quy in particular and Lam Dong in general.
At the same time, security, public order, and traffic safety must be ensured at tourist destinations. Problems such as harassment of tourists, theft, public disorder, gambling, and superstitious activities must be prevented. Special emphasis is placed on strengthening management, rescue, and emergency response services at tourist sites.
Tourism businesses are also encouraged to step up promotional programmes and develop new tourism products that reflect local identity, helping attract more visitors and promote Phu Quy’s image under the motto “Phu Quy People – Friendly, Hospitable, Kind-hearted.”
