Phu Quy Special Zone to Host Traditional Boat Racing Festival
In the vibrant atmosphere of the early days of spring, blending with the joy of the traditional Lunar New Year, the People's Committee of Phu Quy Special Zone, Lam Dong province, will host the 2026 Traditional Boat Racing Festival.
The festival will take place on February 20, 2026 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year) at the eastern beach of the Martyrs’ Name Stele area (Lach Doi Dua area), Phu Quy Special Zone.
Currently, 10 teams have registered to participate. The organizing committee will divide them into two qualifying groups, with the top three teams from each group advancing to the final round.

This is an annual traditional festival of fishermen in Phu Quy, providing an opportunity for residents and visitors to gather by the seaside, immerse themselves in a lively atmosphere. With the sound of pounding festival drums, and the enthusiastic cheers, the event paints a joyful, vibrant spring picture of Phu Quy.
