According to the schedule, the 2025 edition of Prenn Trail Summit will take place from November 26–30, 2025. This marks the third consecutive year the event has been hosted in Lam Dong. In 2024, the race attracted 750 athletes from the province, across Vietnam, and abroad.

This year’s event features eight race distances: 3km, 10km, 25km, 55km, 75km, 103km, 187km, and 250km. The 250km course, the longest ultra-trail distance in Vietnam, will be introduced. Both the 250km and 187km races will start at Kala Lake in Bao Thuan Commune (Di Linh area). These races will finish at Tea Resort Doi Dep, near Prenn Waterfall in Xuan Huong Ward, Da Lat. The 103km race will begin in Tu Tra (Don Duong District) and also finish at Tea Resort Doi Dep. The remaining six distances will both start and finish at Tea Resort Doi Dep.

The 2025 race course has been meticulously designed to follow the exploratory footsteps of Dr. Alexandre Émile Jean Yersin during his historic expeditions across the Lang Biang Plateau. Organizers say the course will test athletes’ endurance. It will also serve as a “heritage trail,” connecting Lam Dong’s history of exploration with the modern spirit of endurance sports.

Stretching across 13 communes and wards in Lam Dong Province, the course will take runners through varied terrain from Di Linh Plateau to Lam Vien Plateau. It will cover areas such as Bao Thuan, Gia Hiep, Ninh Gia, Ta Hine, Duc Trong, Don Duong, Ta Nang, Quang Lap, Ka Do, Hiep Thanh, and the Xuan Truong and Xuan Huong wards of Da Lat. Runners will face rugged trails, winding paths, and dramatic elevation changes along the way.

A key highlight of the event is that completion of the 103km, 187km, or 250km distances at the Prenn Trail Summit grants participants direct eligibility to register for the TOR330 (Tor des Géants 2026) in the Italian Alps, bypassing the customary selection process.

At the 2025 Tor des Géants, Vietnam will be represented in the 330km category by three athletes: Phan Trung Hau and Hoang Huu Thang, both of whom completed the 187km distance at the 2024 Prenn Trail Summit, and Vu Van Thinh, who currently resides and is employed in France.
