An Emerging Hub for Agri-Tourism

Xuan Truong – Da Lat Ward was established through the merger of four administrative units: Ward 11, Xuan Tho, Xuan Truong, and Tram Hanh communes. This strategic move aimed to streamline local governance, enhance administrative efficiency, and unlock the full potential of southeastern Da Lat. Covering 168.83 square kilometers and home to over 36,000 residents — including more than 2,300 ethnic minority people — the ward is becoming a vibrant growth zone.

Tourism has become a key driver in increasing the value of local agricultural products. According to Mrs. Ho Thi Bich Van, Vice Chairwoman of the Xuan Truong - Da Lat Ward People’s Committee, the integration of urban, tourism, and agricultural development has shaped Xuan Truong - Da Lat into a distinctive, dynamic, and opportunity-rich region. Strategically located along major transport routes — National Highway 20, the Prenn bypass, and the Da Lat–Nha Trang expressway — Xuan Truong enjoys ideal conditions for regional connectivity and economic expansion.

In recent years, agri-tourism has flourished, attracting investors and visitors alike with diverse experiences in farming, gastronomy, and spiritual exploration. New destinations continue to emerge, diversifying the tourism landscape while maintaining Da Lat’s signature charm — graceful, friendly, and hospitable. The local tourism workforce has also grown stronger in both scale and professionalism.

Prominent destinations such as Cau Dat Tea Hill, the historic train tunnel, wind farms, farm tours, and cloud-hunting sites have left lasting impressions on domestic and international tourists. To ensure sustainable growth, Xuan Truong - Da lat Ward is prioritizing balanced, inclusive, and eco-friendly tourism development. The local government is fostering collaboration to expand tourism spaces, preserve cultural heritage, and encourage private investment in new service models. Environmental protection and natural resource conservation remain at the core of this strategy, paving the way for high-quality, sustainable tourism routes.

“We aim to offer visitors a seamless, time-saving, and memorable journey while giving residents more opportunities to promote their products and improve their livelihoods through sustainable tourism,” said Mrs. Ho Thi Bich Van, Vice Chairwoman of the Xuan Truong – Da Lat Ward People’s Committee. “Our goal is to make Xuan Truong – Da Lat an unmissable stop in every traveler’s exploration of the City of Flowers.”
