Boosting Promotion and Connectivity to Drive Lam Dong Tourism Growth
Entering the peak summer season, Lam Dong is intensifying tourism promotion and cooperative linkages to expand markets, diversify tourism products, and enhance competitiveness.

Proactive Promotion, Flexible Market Expansion
In early 2026, tourism promotion efforts in Lam Dong have been carried out actively, adapting swiftly to the actual conditions.
In response to changes in transportation infrastructure, particularly in aviation, the tourism sector quickly modified its strategies by enhancing regional connections, leveraging the benefits of road transport, and encouraging interprovincial tours.

Tourism promotion initiatives have been carried out in numerous key markets, along with participation in major events like the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival and international tourism expos to enhance the destination's image. Through these efforts, Lam Dong has strengthened its relationships with travel partners, broadened its network of collaborations, and diversified its sources of visitors.
A key feature is the effective use of digital technology in promoting tourism. The introduction of smart tourism maps, QR code systems, and integrated digital communication platforms has allowed visitors to easily find information and create suitable travel plans.

The tourism stimulus program continues with the participation of nearly 40 businesses. Many promotional packages and flexible combos have been developed, enhancing the attractiveness of the destination during holidays and the summer season.

In addition to the domestic market, Lam Dong is also focusing on expanding international cooperation. To date, the province has signed and maintained seven provincial-level international cooperation agreements while also taking over additional agreements previously established at the district level following administrative restructuring.
These partnerships provide an important foundation for promoting tourist exchanges, destination promotion, and tourism development cooperation in the coming years.

Seven provincial-level international agreements with:
Champasak and Bolykhamxa (Laos)
Mondulkiri (Cambodia)
Westland (Netherlands)
Kochi (Japan)
Matanzas (Cuba)
Guri (South Korea)
Two district-level agreements transferred:
Chuncheon (South Korea)
Yachiyo (Japan)

In addition to formal agreements, the international cooperation network is increasingly being implemented through various activities such as promotional initiatives, exchange programs, and the integration of tourism products.
Enhancing partnerships enables Lam Dong to tap into a wide range of visitor markets, boost its promotional capabilities, and steadily establish its presence on the global tourism landscape.

Strengthening Linkages, Elevating Tourism Experiences
In addition to promoting tourism, activities related to trade promotion and market connectivity are being carried out in a coordinated manner, providing reciprocal support for economic and tourism growth.
Lam Dong is proactively enhancing collaborations with local areas and partners to establish interconnected tourism product chains and broaden visitor experiences.

The linkage strategy is being executed in an open and adaptable manner, emphasizing collaboration with regions that have complementary advantages. This approach aids in creating interregional tourism routes, broadening the variety of tourism offerings, and enhancing experiential value.

Collaboration extends beyond local authorities; alliances between tourism companies and external stakeholders are also becoming more robust. Businesses are collaboratively crafting tourism products, linking tour routes, and enhancing service quality to establish a cohesive tourism value chain.

In addition, cooperation in developing specialized tourism types such as eco-tourism, agricultural tourism, and community tourism continues to receive attention. These models not only create distinctive products but also help promote resource values, preserve cultural identity, and generate livelihoods for local residents.

The coordinated integration of promotion efforts and cooperation linkages is opening up new directions for Lam Dong’s tourism sector. Through proactive measures, stronger market connectivity, and expanded domestic and international cooperation, the province is gradually enhancing the quality of its tourism products and laying a solid foundation for the sector’s next stage of development.
