Lam Dong Tourism Earns Nearly VND 770 Billion During Hung Kings Commemoration Holiday
Tourism activities in Lam Dong Province were highly vibrant during the three-day Hung Kings Commemoration holiday (April 25 - 27), welcoming approximately 350,000 visitors and generating an estimated revenue of nearly VND 770 billion.
According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, average occupancy rates at accommodation establishments reached 65 - 75% during the holiday period.
Notably, the 3- to 5-star accommodation segment recorded occupancy rates ranging from 80 - 95%, with some facilities reaching full capacity.
Total tourist arrivals, including day visitors and overnight guests, were estimated at 350,000, of whom around 14,000 were international visitors.

Safety ensured, service prices remain stable
Alongside strong tourism growth, security, public order, traffic safety, fire prevention and food safety at tourist destinations were strictly maintained throughout the holiday.
Rescue and emergency response measures were also effectively implemented in high-risk areas, ensuring safety for visitors.
Tourism service prices, especially accommodation rates, remained largely stable without major fluctuations.
Tourism businesses strictly complied with regulations on price listing and selling at listed prices, with no recorded cases of overcharging, solicitation or activities causing public concern.

Tourism stimulus measures and service quality improvements
This positive outcome was supported by Lam Dong’s earlier implementation of its 2026 tourism stimulus development program.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed affiliated agencies to closely guide and monitor tourism sites and travel enterprises to ensure safety, security and proper rescue preparedness.
At the same time, the province focused on diversifying tourism products while enhancing service quality, environmental preservation, food safety and professional hospitality standards.
Promotional programs enhance destination appeal
Numerous tourism businesses actively participated in the tourism stimulus campaign through various promotional activities, including:
- Complimentary vouchers
- Discounted services
- Free room upgrades
- Group and customer-targeted incentives
- Souvenir gifts
- Acoustic music performances and artistic showcases
These initiatives significantly boosted visitor attraction and enhanced holiday experiences.

Reinforcing Lam Dong’s tourism competitiveness
The strong performance during the Hung Kings Commemoration holiday further underscores Lam Dong’s growing tourism appeal as the province continues implementing strategic tourism stimulus programs, improving service standards and promoting its image as a safe, friendly and attractive destination.
With coordinated preparation, effective promotional strategies and increasingly professional tourism services, Lam Dong continues to strengthen its position as one of Vietnam’s leading tourism hubs.
