Lam Dong Accelerates Land Clearance for Key Expressway Projects
Lam Dong is stepping up land acquisition and resettlement efforts for the strategically important Bao Loc–Lien Khuong and Tan Phu–Bao Loc expressway projects, aiming to ensure timely project implementation and disbursement of public investment funds.

Major Funding Allocated for Land Clearance
On June 4, Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to review progress in site clearance and resettlement arrangements for the Bao Loc–Lien Khuong and Tan Phu–Bao Loc expressway projects.
According to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, more than VND 2.94 trillion has been allocated in 2026 for compensation, support and resettlement activities related to the Bao Loc–Lien Khuong Expressway Project.
Meanwhile, nearly VND 1.748 trillion from the central and local government budgets has been allocated for the Tan Phu–Bao Loc Expressway Project.

Following directives from the Provincial People's Committee regarding capital review and disbursement planning, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center has coordinated with relevant agencies to propose capital reallocation plans in line with project implementation schedules.
According to a proposal submitted by the Department of Finance, the Bao Loc–Lien Khuong Expressway Project is expected to use more than VND 940 billion for land clearance activities, while the Tan Phu–Bao Loc Expressway Project is projected to require more than VND 636 billion.

Progress Varies Across Localities
For the Bao Loc–Lien Khuong Expressway Project, asset inventories, compensation documentation and approval procedures are being expedited by local authorities. Many localities have already completed most compensation approvals for affected households.
However, several areas still face substantial workloads. Ward 1 Bao Loc , along with Ninh Gia, Tan Hoi and Hiep Thanh communes, must continue completing compensation and support procedures in accordance with regulations.

For the Tan Phu–Bao Loc Expressway Project, land clearance progress remains uneven among localities.
Authorities reported several ongoing challenges, including verification of land origins, completion of legal documentation, adjustments to compensation plans, and resettlement arrangements for residents affected by the projects.
Call for Faster Implementation
Concluding the meeting, Nguyen Hong Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that both the Bao Loc–Lien Khuong and Tan Phu–Bao Loc expressway projects hold special significance for the socio-economic development of Lam Dong Province as well as the Central Highlands and Southeast regions.

He called on departments, agencies and local authorities to maintain maximum focus, proactively coordinate solutions to emerging difficulties, accelerate approval of compensation dossiers and payments to affected residents, complete resettlement areas, and hand over cleared land to project investors according to schedule.
The Vice Chairman also instructed relevant agencies to continue reviewing individual cases, establish roadmaps for resolving outstanding issues, and strengthen accountability among agency leaders. These efforts, he stressed, are essential to ensuring both the timely disbursement of public investment capital and the successful implementation of Lam Dong's key expressway projects.
