Lam Dong Attends National Conference on Resolution for Foreign-Invested Economic Development
On the morning of June 30 in Ha Noi, the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee convened a national conference to study, disseminate and implement Politburo Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW dated June 8, 2026 on the development of the foreign-invested sector. General Secretary and State President To Lam attended and delivered a keynote address.

The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, connecting approximately 35,000 venues nationwide.
At the Lam Dong provincial venue, participants included Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the province’s National Assembly Delegation; Ho Van Muoi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; and Bui Thang.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of provincial departments, agencies and localities; along with a large number of officials and Party members participating from connected venues across the province.

The conference was broadcast live from the provincial venue to Party organizations under the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Political School and eligible grassroots venues throughout Lam Dong.

Strengthening the Foundation for Foreign Investment
Delegates watched a documentary highlighting 40 years of foreign investment attraction in Vietnam, reviewing the formation, development and significant contributions of the foreign-invested sector to the country's socio-economic growth.

The conference focused on the key contents of Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW, with a presentation delivered by Pham Gia Tuc, Member of the Politburo and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister.

Participants also heard presentations from leaders of ministries and localities on measures to attract high-quality foreign investment associated with developing an International Financial Center; building a highly skilled workforce for science, technology, research, innovation and digital transformation; promoting investment linked to free trade zones; developing synchronized, modern infrastructure to capture global supply chain shifts; and attracting FDI projects in high technology, semiconductors, electronics and research and development.

In addition, representatives of several enterprises and investment funds operating in Vietnam shared practical experiences in investment and discussed ways to strengthen linkages between foreign-invested enterprises and domestic businesses, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of attracting and utilizing foreign investment.

The conference aimed to ensure officials and Party members gain a unified understanding of the core contents, new directions and major tasks outlined in Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW.

Based on the resolution, Party committees, organizations, agencies and local authorities will develop action plans tailored to practical conditions, ensuring its consistent and effective implementation from the central level to the grassroots. The effort is expected to strengthen consensus, inspire innovation and creativity, and reinforce determination to achieve Vietnam’s goals of rapid and sustainable development.
