Lam Dong, Dong Nai partner to drive regional tourism growth
Lam Dong Province and Dong Nai City have committed to a strategic partnership to develop local tourism into a highly professional, modern, and sustainable sector by pooling resources, sharing expertise, and linking tourism markets.

On July 15, the Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center of Lam Dong Province, in collaboration with the Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center of Dong Nai City, hosted a bilateral tourism development seminar and service provider partnership-signing ceremony in Lam Dong Province.

The high-profile event drew senior leadership from the Departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Dong Nai City and Lam Dong Province, directors of the promotion centers of both localities, alongside representatives from a vast network of local travel operators and hospitality service providers.

Both localities possess significant geographical and cultural advantages for tourism integration. Beyond their rich natural resources, diverse landscapes, unique ecosystems, and deep-seated cultural heritage, the two southern-central localities benefit from an increasingly synchronized transportation infrastructure network. This enhanced connectivity serves as a critical foundation for linking and curating interprovincial tourism products.

Against this backdrop, the integration of service providers from Lam Dong with travel agencies from Dong Nai is projected to unlock new business opportunities. The alliance is expected to establish appealing interprovincial travel itineraries, boost visitor volume, extend tourist length of stay, and optimize operational efficiencies for local private-sector businesses.

During the program, service providers from both localities signed formal cooperation agreements. The pact aims to streamline direct communication, foster information sharing, co-develop regional tourism itineraries, leverage local competitive advantages, elevate service quality, and promote eco-friendly and responsible tourism.

Within the framework of the seminar, delegates also engaged in working sessions regarding public management, marketing strategies, and tourism promotion. The business-to-business networking sessions among travel companies, hospitality operators, and local service providers are aimed at broadening partnership opportunities, stimulating tourist demand, and strengthening the overall competitiveness of both destinations in the coming years.
