On July 21, officials from Military Region 7 and Lam Dong Province carried out a site inspection of the Quang Truc Primary and Lower Secondary Boarding School construction site.
The delegation included Nguyen Minh, Member of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee; Senior Colonel Nguyen Hai Nam, Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 7; along with leaders from various related departments and agencies.

The Quang Truc Primary and Lower Secondary Boarding School project has a total investment of VND 240 billion and is being constructed on an area of nearly 5 hectares in Bu Dar Hamlet, Quang Truc Commune, with construction starting in November 2025.

As of now, the project has accomplished about 65% of its total workload. The indoor work—including the setup of construction equipment, flooring, ceilings, doors, and teaching supplies—is expected to be completed by August 15. The project is scheduled to undergo acceptance inspection and be delivered for use before August 30.

A representative of Southern 319 Company, the construction contractor, said that the contractor had mobilized additional personnel and equipment as well as organized extra work shifts to speed up progress. Additionally, the contractor had collaborated with the Provincial Military Command to receive support from 138 standing militia members to address the work items that were behind schedule.

Despite ongoing efforts, the workforce mobilization continues to be inconsistent. The typical daily workforce is around 300 workers, fallng short of the mobilization target set by the construction units.

According to the review, more than 200 additional workers are still needed. The project owner and the construction contractor have requested that Military Region 7 direct its subordinate units to supply additional labor, especially skilled workers who can actively engage in the construction process.
During the survey, representatives of Military Region 7 concurred with the proposal made by the project owner and construction contractor.
While supporting the construction of the school, the units requested that the project owner and construction contractor clearly identify the tasks and workload to be carried out and ensure adequate protective equipment as well as living and rest conditions for officers and soldiers.

Senior Colonel Le Anh Vuong, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, stated that around 30 skilled officers and soldiers were expected to be assigned to support the school’s construction. During the deployment, the teams will hold daily briefings and carry out construction work in successive phases, allowing them to adjust their plans proactively and keep the project on schedule.
"The Provincial Military Command requests that the project owner and local authorities arrange for safe lodging, meals, and working conditions for the additional officers and soldiers. Additionally, the existing workforce should be utilized effectively, and tasks should be assigned appropriately," Senior Colonel Le Anh Vuong said.

Working with the delegation from Military Region 7, Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh highlighted the importance and goals of the project. Students were expected to return to school earlier to familiarize themselves with their teachers and the new learning environment. As a result, construction must proceed more urgently and swiftly, with a focus on classrooms, boarding facilities, and the school kitchen.
The Vice Chairman noted that the project remained behind the agreed schedule. Following discussions with Military Region 7, he urged the units to mobilize the maximum available personnel and resources to speed up the construction of the work items. Throughout the construction phase, both occupational safety and the quality of the construction must be ensured.
Lam Dong Province acknowledges and deeply appreciates the support provided by Military Region 7 during the construction of the boarding school. We ask the units to provide maximum support in terms of personnel while creating the most favorable conditions for officers and soldiers to carry out their duties with peace of mind

Throughout the construction process and in their daily duties, the officers and soldiers are expected to uphold the spirit and virtues of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers," actively carry out their assigned duties, ensure occupational safety and strive to complete the project as soon as possible.
Relevant agencies and units must develop plans and ensure an appropriate number of personnel to participate in the support effort with the highest level of political determination. Every day, the units are responsible for reporting to Military Region 7. If any difficulties or obstacles arise, they must promptly report them so that appropriate measures can be taken in a timely manner.
