Lam Dong continues to step up its 2026 tourism stimulus program.

The Center has called on People's Committees of communes, wards and Phu Quy Special Zone to promote the program among tourism businesses, accommodation providers, tourist attractions and household enterprises. Local authorities are also encouraged to actively mobilize and support businesses in developing promotional offers, tourism products and incentive packages, and to register their participation in the campaign.

At the same time, localities are urged to review and identify tourism assets, including destinations, tourism products, cultural events and festivals, OCOP (One Commune One Product) offerings, traditional craft villages, cultural heritage sites and other distinctive local values. They are expected to work closely with the Center and tourism businesses to develop new tourism products and itineraries targeting both local residents and visitors from outside the province.

The Center has also asked the Lam Dong Tourism Association to guide businesses in designing promotional programs and tourism products tailored to different market segments, while fostering partnerships among travel agencies, accommodation providers, transport operators, tourist attractions and other service suppliers to create integrated travel packages, combo deals, tour routes and attractive promotional offers.

Tourism businesses are encouraged to actively develop and register their participation in the campaign. Priority will be given to promotional programs scheduled to run from the reopening of Lien Khuong International Airport through the end of 2026, with the aim of boosting the province's appeal to both domestic and international travelers.
In parallel, businesses are encouraged to introduce new tourism products and experiential programs that highlight local cultural heritage, natural landscapes, agriculture, community life, traditional craft villages and the unique identity of each locality. They are also urged to expand weekend getaways, family travel products and inter-provincial tour packages within Lam Dong to encourage longer stays and higher visitor spending.

Furthermore, hospitality businesses are encouraged to implement targeted pricing models for large tour groups, long-term visitors, students, factory workers, and other high-potential demographics. Participating operators must formally commit to service quality baselines, strict price transparency, and anti-gouging measures, thereby securing a safe, civilized, and hospitable environment that enhances the overall visitor experience.

Lien Khuong International Airport is scheduled to resume operations on Aug. 19, 2026, marking a critical opportunity for local authorities and tourism businesses to finalize tourism products, promotional campaigns and marketing activities in preparation for an anticipated increase in visitor demand.
