Lam Dong Honors Winners of First Provincial Robotics Competition
The awards ceremony for the First Lam Dong Provincial Robotics Innovation Competition 2026 was held on July 28 at Da Lat University, recognizing outstanding student teams for their creativity and technical excellence.

Under the theme "New Era – The Era of National Rise," the competition's final round brought together 72 teams and 242 contestants who advanced through the qualifying rounds to compete in three divisions: R1, R2, and R3.
Participants showcased a wide range of innovative robotic models and solutions, demonstrating strong logical thinking, programming skills, robot control, and teamwork.

According to the organizing committee, the competition provided students with an engaging platform to explore science and technology while fostering a passion for research, innovation, and technological advancement. It also supports the development of STEM education across Lam Dong Province.

Organizers hope the Robotics Innovation Competition will become an annual event, expanding in both scale and quality. The competition is expected to help identify and nurture young talent in STEM, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI), contributing to the province's goals of promoting science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

In the final results, Athena Theta from Athena School Da Lat won the R1 championship. In the R2 category, Nguyen Du 05 from Nguyen Du Secondary School, Da Lat claimed first place, while AirTech from Hung Vuong High School – Hoai Duc took the top prize in the R3 division.

The competition was jointly organized by the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training, Da Lat University, and Viet Robot Company.
As the first province-wide robotics competition dedicated to students, the event marked an important step in encouraging scientific research, innovation, and technology application among Lam Dong's younger generation.
