According to the Steering Committee, communication efforts have been carried out through diverse formats, including media coverage, public displays, exhibitions, film screenings, cultural performances, sporting events, and gratitude campaigns honoring veterans and people who rendered meritorious service to the nation.
These activities have helped promote Vietnam's revolutionary traditions, strengthen public confidence and encourage patriotic movements throughout the province.

Focus shifts to National Day celebrations and long-term historical identity
Concluding the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Dang Hong Sy praised the efforts made so far while calling on provincial agencies to continue strictly implementing directives on organizing major commemorative events.
In the immediate future, he instructed authorities to thoroughly prepare activities marking the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam's National Day (September 2), ensuring that events are both meaningful and widely accessible to the public.
The province was also urged to expand cultural and artistic programs, remembrance ceremonies and tribute activities that reinforce historical awareness and patriotic education.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Dang Hong Sy also emphasized that publicity surrounding major national celebrations should be closely linked with the implementation of the resolutions adopted at the 14th National Party Congress and provincial Party congresses for the 2025–2030 term.
He called for stronger efforts to monitor public opinion, safeguard the Party's ideological foundation, and promptly counter misinformation, historical distortions and hostile narratives.
Research underway on Lam Dong's official historical milestones
The meeting also discussed the process of determining Lam Dong Province's official founding day, traditional day and liberation day following Vietnam's recent administrative restructuring.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Dang Hong Sy assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization to coordinate with relevant agencies to study central government guidance and review the historical development of the three former provinces that now make up Lam Dong.
The review will consider major historical events, significant victories and the establishment of the first local Party organizations as the basis for future proposals.
He stressed that any decision must be supported by historical evidence, academic research and broad public consensus.
