TTC Chau Thanh rest stop opens on Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway
The TTC Chau Thanh rest stop at Km 205+902 on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet Expressway was officially inaugurated on the morning of August 11, marking the addition of a major integrated service facility along the expressway.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Vietnam Road Administration, local authorities, partners, consultants, contractors and the TTC Chau Thanh investment consortium.
An integrated service hub on the expressway
Invested in by the Thanh Thanh Nam - Chau Thanh - Viet Han - Saigon Investment consortium, TTC Chau Thanh covers more than 13 hectares, with two service areas located on opposite sides of the expressway to serve traffic traveling in both the northbound and southbound directions.
Designed as an integrated service complex, the rest stop includes commercial and dining facilities, parking areas, fuel stations, electric vehicle charging stations, vehicle maintenance and repair services, emergency rescue and assistance, car-washing facilities and other supporting services.
The central service area features a restaurant of approximately 2,000 square meters and 39 commercial and service outlets.
Following investment and the completion of construction, the facility began serving motorists and visitors in April 2026.
According to Huynh Tuan Em, Director of TTC Chau Thanh Trading and Services JSC and representative of the TTC Chau Thanh investment consortium, the value of a rest stop is measured not only by the scale of its facilities but also by the quality of the experience it provides users.
“Our goal is not simply to complete a construction project, but to create a place where everyone who stops can feel safe, comfortable and valued throughout their experience,” Huynh Tuan Em said.
From the business perspective, Dang Huynh Anh Tuan, Director of Operations at TTC Group and representative of a major shareholder in the TTC Chau Thanh investment consortium, said the project reflects the group’s commitment to supporting local infrastructure and economic development.
“At TTC Group and the TTC Chau Thanh consortium, we remain committed to developing a sustainable ecosystem based on ESG standards covering environmental, social and governance factors,” Dang Huynh Anh Tuan said.
The approach is reflected in the project’s nearly 2,500-square-meter solar panel system, high-capacity electric vehicle charging stations designed to meet the growing demand for green transportation, and 17,000 square meters of landscaped green space.
The company has also committed to operating the rest stop with modern wastewater treatment technology, contributing to environmental protection, the transition toward green development, more efficient energy use and Vietnam’s Net Zero target.
Expanding services and creating local jobs
Beyond meeting motorists’ basic rest and service needs, TTC Chau Thanh is expected to contribute to the development of commercial and service activities while creating additional employment opportunities.
From the construction phase through to operations, the project has generated jobs for hundreds of workers, including many local residents.
Speaking at the ceremony, Tran Duc Trung, representative of the Vietnam Road Administration, recognized the efforts of the investment consortium throughout the project’s implementation.
He said TTC Chau Thanh adds essential service infrastructure to the expressway, improving convenience and service quality for road users. The transport authority also expressed expectations that the facility would be operated safely and professionally and deliver long-term benefits.
More than just a rest stop along the expressway, TTC Chau Thanh aims to evolve into a broader connection point—providing motorists with a place to rest, offering visitors greater convenience, creating employment opportunities and giving local commercial and service activities an additional impetus for growth.
