Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vo Thanh Huy said that following the expansion of its development space, Lam Dong now possesses distinctive advantages with a convergence of sea, highlands, forests, lakes, geological features and diverse cultural values.

These strengths provide a foundation for the province to develop an interconnected tourism ecosystem, with high-quality and sustainable products in resort, eco-tourism, cultural tourism, wellness, agricultural tourism and MICE.

Priority segments include resort tourism, wedding tourism, MICE, wellness and Halal tourism, alongside efforts to steadily improve service quality and human resources for international visitors.

These efforts will also expand cooperation in culture, trade and investment.

India — A Market with Growing Potential

At the event, Kukunuru Ranga Readdy, Director of Garuda Tourism and head of the Indian delegation, said the delegation highly appreciated Lam Dong's diverse tourism products, natural landscapes, accommodation system and potential to develop products tailored to the Indian market after coducting its field survey.

After offering candid recommendations on areas that need improvement to enhance service quality, the Indian side also expressed its hope that the survey would lead to more specific tours and travel programs, bringing increasing numbers of Indian visitors to Lam Dong in the coming period.

India is identified as one of Lam Dong's high-potential international tourism markets. In 2025, the province welcomed about 9,000 Indian visitors, while the figure reached approximately 6,000 in the first six months of 2026. These figures point to growing demand and significant room for expanded cooperation between the two sides.

Through the program, Lam Dong expects networking activities to gradually translate into new products, new business partnerships, new markets and new visitor flows, with the goal of making the province a destination that Indian travelers choose to visit, experience and return to.
