Lam Dong Establishes Working Group to Implement Mui Ne National Tourism Area Master Plan
The People's Committee of Lam Dong Province has issued a decision establishing a specialized Working Group to review and expedite the implementation plan for the Master Construction Plan of Mui Ne National Tourism Area through 2040, with a vision toward 2050.
Under the decision, the provincial People's Committee assigned Vo Thanh Huy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to serve as Head of the Working Group. Bui Truong Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, was appointed Deputy Head. Other members include leadership figures from relevant provincial departments and agencies, alongside officials representing key localities designated within the planning perimeter, including Mui Ne Ward, Phu Thuy Ward, Hoa Thang Commune, and Phan Ri Cua Commune.
The Working Group is tasked with reviewing, monitoring, and urging the execution of assignments outlined in Plan No. 584/KH-UBND dated January 14, 2026, as well as related conclusions and directives issued by the provincial People's Committee.
Through these oversight mechanisms, the task force will identify lagging projects, ascertain underlying causes, clarify the accountability of affiliated departments and units, and submit periodic progress reports to the provincial administration.
In addition, the Working Group will formulate operational programs, conduct field inspections, and schedule working sessions with relevant provincial departments, sectors, local authorities, and project investors—covering both public and private capital initiatives—to monitor the implementation of programs, projects, and activities within Mui Ne National Tourism Area.
Through these engagements, the task force will promptly identify, synthesize, and coordinate with sectoral agencies to resolve obstacles and bottlenecks, recommending regulatory actions to competent authorities where appropriate.
Specific monitoring priorities encompass state management duties regarding spatial planning, land use, investment, construction, technical infrastructure, tourism, and commercial services. The team will also address matters related to site clearance, environmental sanitation, food safety, and public security.
Emphasis will be placed on upgrading the local tourism environment to foster a civilized, friendly, and safe destination image for Mui Ne National Tourism Area, alongside resolving other operational matters arising during plan implementation.
To maintain operational efficacy, the Working Group will consolidate progress reports, advise provincial leadership on convening thematic meetings when necessary, and provide regular or ad-hoc reports as required. The Group Leader will draft working regulations and assign specific tasks to individual members and the assisting support staff.
