Promoting Healthy Living and Community Solidarity

According to the plan, the 2026 “Moving Forward with Vietnam” program returns under the message “10 Billion Green Steps – For a Sustainable Vietnam,” building on the results of its first edition in 2025. The program aims to promote healthy exercise habits, green lifestyles, environmental protection and community solidarity.

This year's event will take place simultaneously at 6 a.m. on August 30, 2026, across 34 provinces and cities nationwide. It is organized to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the success of the August Revolution, the 81st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces, and the 81st National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

In Lam Dong, the program will be rolled out on a broad scale. Under the plan, flag-raising ceremonies will take place simultaneously at 124 communes, wards and special administrative zones across the province at 6 a.m. on August 30, coinciding with the national flag-raising ceremony at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi.

In communes and special administrative zones, activities will be held at central locations. Five ward clusters will organize events at suitable squares, parks or stadiums. The provincial-level opening ceremony will take place at Ong Dia Rock Park in Phu Thuy Ward.
