Lam Dong Wins Four Gold Medals at the 2026 National Youth Table Tennis Championships
Lam Dong’s table tennis team has won 12 medals, including four gold medals, at the 2026 National Outstanding Youth, Junior and Children’s Table Tennis Championships.

On September 6, Ho Trung Thuy, head coach of the Lam Dong provincial table tennis team under the Provincial Sports Training and Physical Education Center, said that the team sent 20 athletes to compete at the 2026 National Outstanding Youth, Junior and Children’s Table Tennis Championships, winning four gold medals.
Specifically, Do Le Van Chi won the gold medal in the girls’ U17 singles event. Do Le Van Chi and Nguyen Ngoc Kim Ngan won gold in the girls’ U17 doubles event; Nguyen Tat Thanh Dat and Nguyen The Anh claimed gold in the boys’ U19 doubles event; while Nguyen Doan Kien Tan and Do Le Van Linh won gold in the mixed doubles event.

Additionally, the Lam Dong table tennis squad secured three silver and five bronze medals, placing fourth overall.
Ho Trung Thuy, head coach of the Lam Dong provincial table tennis team, remarked, “The tournament gathered many exceptional players, offering the athletes a chance to gain competitive experience and evaluate their skills. The outcomes reflect the team's extensive preparation as well as the athletes’ abilities.”
The 2026 National Outstanding Youth, Junior and Children’s Table Tennis Championships was held in Ninh Binh, organized by the Ninh Binh Department of Culture and Sports in cooperation with the Vietnam Sports Authority and the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation. The event attracted 25 teams and approximately 300 athletes from leading table tennis centers nationwide.
