Looking Ahead to a Colorful Da Lat Flower Festival
The 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026 is drawing near. As preparations continue, residents, visitors, flower growers and businesses are looking forward to a vibrant festival where flowers, culture, music and tourism come together.

Hoping for More Flowers Across Da Lat
Lam Dong is still in the rainy season, with weather conditions yet to reach their best of the year. However, new greenery and colorful flowers are already appearing along many roads and in public spaces, creating a distinctive festive atmosphere. Central wards are improving their landscapes, residents are tending to flowers, and visitors continue to come to experience the unique beauty of Lam Dong.
For visitors, the Da Lat Flower Festival is not only about major events and programs, but also about the area's appearance during the festival. A flower-filled street, a beautifully decorated small park or a carefully maintained street corner can become a stopping point where visitors capture memorable images of Da Lat.

Phuoc Thanh, a visitor from Ho Chi Minh City, said Lam Dong already has many flowers and beautiful landscapes. He hopes this year's festival will feature more flower streets and sightseeing and photography spots, attracting more visitors and creating a livelier atmosphere. He also looks forward to returning to Lam Dong during the festival to enjoy the flowers and experience the festive atmosphere.
Visiting Lam Dong as preparations for the festival were underway, Duc Tinh, a visitor from Da Nang, said he could clearly sense the festival atmosphere emerging in central areas. Many roads and public spaces have been improved, with more flowers being planted and cared for. He hopes the festival will offer more beautiful flower spaces and attractions where visitors can walk around, admire the flowers and take photos.
These expectations show that the appeal of the festival lies not only in the scale of its programs, but also in how the festive atmosphere becomes part of everyday urban life. Visitors to Da Lat want more than to attend events at designated venues; they want to see flowers and feel the festival atmosphere as they walk through the streets.
For Hoang Thi Lan Anh, an 11th-grade Chemistry student at Thang Long High School for the Gifted in Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward, the Flower Festival is not only an opportunity to admire elaborately decorated flower spaces, but also a chance for young people to learn more about the flowers that have helped build the area's identity.
I hope young people in Lam Dong will take a more active part in the Da Lat Flower Festival’s activities, so they can develop a deeper love and understanding of their homeland while showing the responsibility of the younger generation toward Lam Dong.

Working Together for a Vibrant Flower Festival
Creating beautiful flower spaces for the festival requires months of preparation by local flower growers. New batches of flowers are being carefully tended and timed to bloom during the festival, serving decoration, display and other festival activities.

For flower growers, the festival is an opportunity for their products to be featured at a major event while contributing to the appearance of the locality.
Dang Duc, a flower grower in Lam Vien–Da Lat Ward, hopes the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival will give growers more opportunities to introduce their products to visitors, expand their markets and bring Da Lat's flower varieties closer to consumers.

The festival is also an opportunity for businesses to contribute to preparations. The socialization policy enables businesses to work with local authorities to develop flower spaces, small parks and decorative structures, adding new highlights to the area during the festival.
Pham Van Thang, Deputy Director of Green Hill Services and Trading Co., Ltd., one of the sponsors of the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival, said the company is working with central wards to build small parks and decorative structures, contributing additional highlights to the festival landscape.
The company hopes its contribution will create more attractive spaces and destinations for residents and visitors to enjoy and take photos. The 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026 is also an opportunity for businesses and organizations to demonstrate their commitment to working with local authorities and helping build a more beautiful, civilized and attractive image of Da Lat and Lam Dong.
After 10 editions, the festival continues to build on experience from previous events while introducing new approaches. The 11th Da Lat Flower Festival, themed “Da Lat – A Symphony of Flowers and Music,” is expected to strengthen connections between flowers, music, culture and tourism.
The province hopes the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival will become a shared celebration for people across Lam Dong, helping promote the province’s image, people and potential in a new development context.
Dinh Van Tuan, Provincial Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee
Vice Chairman Dinh Van Tuan said the province expects the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival to create new highlights, not only in its scale but also in its reach and impact. The festival is expected to become a shared celebration for Lam Dong residents, with every locality, resident and business able to participate and contribute to the festive atmosphere.
According to Tuan, the festival will also provide an opportunity to introduce the new Lam Dong, including the cultural values, landscapes and distinctive products of areas such as Da Lat, Bao Loc, Gia Nghia, Phan Thiet and Mui Ne, to more visitors.
In this way, the festival will not only celebrate flowers but also help promote the people, culture and potential of Lam Dong within its new development context.
