2026 Da Lat Flower Festival Set to Bring New and Distinctive Features
The Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee held a press conference on October 8 to provide updates on preparations for the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival 2026, which will feature 11 major programs and 25 supporting activities scheduled throughout December.

Lam Dong Expands Flower Festival Space Across the Province
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival is scheduled to open on December 19. The 2027 New Year Celebration, combined with the festival’s closing ceremony, is scheduled for December 31.
All 11 major programs now have basic implementation plans. The opening ceremony and the 2027 New Year Celebration combined with the festival’s closing ceremony are still being finalized. The Organizing Committee has received 6 proposals from experts.

One of Lam Dong’s priorities is to expand the festival space, making flowers a highlight not only in central Da Lat but also across other areas of the province.
Lam Dong Mobilizes Communities to Grow More Flowers
The campaign “Everyone Grows Flowers, Every Household Grows Flowers and Trees” has been launched. More than 70 communes and wards have developed plans to join the campaign, including flower-lined streets, small parks, flower installations and landscape improvement projects.

At the press conference, media representatives called for continued innovation in the festival’s content to make it more attractive to visitors, while placing greater emphasis on honoring flowers, flower-based products and flower growers.
Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the 11th festival is themed “Da Lat – A Symphony of Flowers and Music.”
The festival’s activities will combine flowers with music, colors and Da Lat’s cultural identity, while expanding flower spaces across urban areas and communes and wards throughout the province. Lam Vien Square – Da Lat will be one of the festival’s central venues.

Provincial Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Tuan called for additional programs and side activities to broaden the festival’s reach. He said the impact of the festival should not end when the event closes, but should create lasting values and further strengthen Da Lat’s reputation as a flower destination.
The provincial leader asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, other departments and localities to continue contributing to and finalizing the overall program and detailed activities. This includes reviewing festival venues and selecting activities and projects capable of leaving a lasting impression on Da Lat.

Vice Chairman Dinh Van Tuan affirmed that the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival will feature new and distinctive elements and a more vibrant atmosphere than previous editions, aiming for a scale and quality worthy of the new Lam Dong and opening up further development opportunities for the province.
