Lam Dong Explores Israeli Agricultural Technologies to Upgrade Flower Production
The Israel Economic and Trade Office in Vietnam, in coordination with the Da Lat Flower Association, held a seminar entitled “Applying Israeli Agricultural Technologies in Lam Dong Province” in Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward on the afternoon of November 4.

The event attracted around 100 participants, including businesses, cooperatives and local flower growers.
As a major flower-producing region with annual output exceeding five billion stems, Lam Dong is shifting its focus from increasing production volumes to improving quality and added value. The seminar was expected to help local businesses and farmers gain access to advanced technologies, new flower varieties and resource-efficient, sustainable production models – areas in which Israel's agricultural sector has established considerable expertise.

At the seminar, leading Israeli agricultural technology companies, including Netafim, Rivulis, Metzer, Mapal and Danziger, presented solutions covering flower varieties, drip irrigation, plant nutrition and greenhouse cultivation systems. Company representatives also answered questions directly from local growers.
Following the seminar, businesses from both sides took part in business-to-business (B2B) meetings to explore specific cooperation opportunities.
The event took place as the Vietnam-Israel Free Trade Agreement (VIFTA) approaches its second anniversary of taking effect, providing further momentum for bilateral cooperation, particularly in high-tech agriculture.
