In recent years, tourism in Lam Dong Province has achieved significant strides as products, services and infrastructure underwent gradual upgrades. According to Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Tuan, the culture, sports and tourism sector achieved many positive results in 2025. Cultural values have continued to be preserved and promoted, mass sports movements have expanded, and tourism activities showed strong signs of recovery, emerging as a bright spot in the province’s socio-economic development. These achievements were made possible not only by state management agencies but also by the active participation of the business community.

In 2026, Lam Dong will promote its destination in a more professional and modern manner, while strengthening the application of digital technology in tourism promotion, including the development of tourism databases and digital tourism maps to better support visitors.

Throughout the year, a wide range of cultural, sports and tourism events will take place, such as the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cycling Cup, Dalat Ultra Trail, Lam Dong Trail, Prenn Trail Summit and Dalat Music Night Run. Cultural events will also include the Lam Dong Culture and Tourism Day in Ho Chi Minh City, tourism development forums and seminars, along with traditional festivals such as Cau Ngu Festival, Nghinh Ong Festival, Kate Festival and the Lam Dong Gong Festival.

A highlight of the year will be the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival, expected to take place in December 2026, continuing to promote the image, culture and tourism of the province.

The business community plays a crucial role in developing the tourism market. According to travel companies, developing a new tourism product usually requires three to four months of preparation, from surveying and designing programs to marketing. Therefore, close cooperation among stakeholders is essential to create competitive tourism products.

Southeast Asian markets such as Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia still hold strong potential, especially for resort, eco-tourism and nature-based experience products. At the same time, domestic tourism and regional linkages are also being promoted, with the Phan Thiet – Da Lat route seen as having significant development potential.

The province will continue to develop its strengths in eco-tourism, agricultural tourism and tourism linked to indigenous culture, while expanding digital promotion and building a friendly, safe tourism environment.

In 2026, Lam Dong aims to welcome about 25.8 million visitors, with tourism revenue expected to reach VND 71 trillion. The province will focus on improving service quality and diversifying tourism products such as MICE tourism, eco-tourism, high-end resorts, cultural and sports tourism, wellness tourism and adventure tourism, while attracting large-scale investment projects to enhance the competitiveness of the destination.
