Southeastern Lam Dong Welcomes a Wave of Investors
The adoption of Resolution No. 18 on adjustments to the Lam Dong Provincial Master Plan for the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050, is creating fresh momentum for attracting investment. In southeastern Lam Dong, the real estate market is showing positive signs, with a growing number of businesses and investors exploring opportunities, registering to lease land, and preparing to launch projects.

Investors Show Growing Interest
In the first six months of 2026, Tan Minh Commune reported visits from a growing number of businesses and investors seeking opportunities and registering investment projects in production and business, especially after the adjusted Lam Dong Provincial Master Plan was announced.
Under the plan, the southern coastal area is designated as a key economic zone of the province, anchored by Son My Energy Port and connected to the system of industrial parks and clusters in the southeast.
Thanks to its transport infrastructure and connectivity with Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, localities under the Southern Coastal Economic Zone Project and southeastern Lam Dong are emerging as attractive destinations for investors.

Tran Cong Truong, Chairman of the Tan Minh Commune People’s Committee, said that since the beginning of the year, particularly in June, the locality has received a steady stream of businesses conducting site surveys and exploring investment opportunities. To date, 13 enterprises have registered to lease land at Tan Duc Industrial Park to build factories, including one secondary investor that has completed procedures to begin construction.
Tran Cong Truong added that in June alone, applications for land-use purpose changes and transfers of land-use rights in the commune rose sharply, helping increase budget revenue from land-related sources.
The locality is focusing on developing industry, trade and services while gradually reducing the share of agriculture, with the aim of creating more jobs, raising incomes and promoting sustainable growth. By the end of the year, once secondary investors complete procedures and put their factories into operation, more jobs are expected to be created for local workers.

Beyond Tan Minh, the Phuoc Hoi–La Gi coastal area is also accelerating work on its inter-ward master plan in line with the province’s marine economic development orientation toward 2050.

The general master plan for the two adjacent wards of Phuoc Hoi and La Gi covers more than 10,600 hectares within the scope of Lam Dong Province’s Southern Coastal Economic Zone Project. The plan is expected to create new development momentum for the area and attract investment in industry, services, urban development and the marine economy.

Phan Chau, a resident of Residential Group 5 in Phuoc Hoi Ward, said the province’s orientation toward developing a coastal economic zone has raised high expectations among local people. According to Chau, once projects are implemented in a coordinated manner, the area will have favorable conditions to grow more rapidly, create more jobs, improve living standards and effectively tap its marine economic potential.
Land Resources Draw Investors
Regarding the real estate market, Vu Duc Minh, a representative of a real estate company in La Gi Ward, said the Phuoc Hoi, La Gi, Son My and Tan Minh areas hold many advantages for the real estate market thanks to their proximity to two major economic hubs, Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, as well as convenient connections through the expressway system.
After the new planning was announced, many businesses and investors came to explore opportunities in tourism, industry and real estate. According to Minh, investors expect the Southern Coastal Economic Zone Project to create new growth momentum and give the area a distinctive advantage.

According to Nguyen Thi Hong Tham, Vice Chairwoman of the Tra Tan Commune People’s Committee, the adjustment of the provincial master plan has opened up new opportunities to attract investment, as the locality is oriented toward the development of industrial parks and clusters. In addition to its transport connectivity with major economic hubs, Tra Tan has a large land bank suitable for industrial development and large-scale investment projects.
Along with the three existing industrial clusters of Nam Ha, Nam Ha 2 and Dong Ha, the locality has established Tan Ha 3 Industrial Cluster, where a business has registered to invest in infrastructure development.
Nguyen Thi Hong Tham said: “Thanks to the positive impact of the planning adjustment, the local real estate market has seen many changes. In the first six months of the year, the commune’s land-related budget revenue exceeded the assigned estimate by nearly 82 percent.”

Lam Dong Province’s plan for industrial park development in the 2021–2030 period, with a vision to 2050, identifies 35 industrial parks covering a total area of more than 15,900 hectares. Of these, 14 have been established, two have had their subdivision plans approved, and four have had their planning tasks approved and are now preparing subdivision plans.
In the first six months of 2026, Lam Dong attracted 35 newly licensed investment projects, including four FDI projects, with total registered capital of more than VND 56 trillion and US$2 million.
These results show that, following the formation of a new development space, Lam Dong is effectively capitalizing on its advantages from the highlands to coastal areas, creating growing appeal for businesses and investors.
Localities’ ability to attract more projects outside the state budget not only helps energize the real estate market but also creates jobs, expands room for growth and promotes the province’s socio-economic development.
