Spreading love through the 2026 "Giving Strength to School" scholarships
Tuoi Tre Newspaper in coordination with the Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union recently organized the "Giving Strength to School" scholarship presentation ceremony under the theme "One Aspiration - Millions of Hearts."

This phase of the program is dedicated to 120 resilient first-year students overcoming adversity from four provinces: Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, and Quang Ngai.

The total funding for the scholarship program in Lam Dong is valued at more than 1.9 billion VND, excluding travel, accommodation, and gift expenses, sponsored by the Farmers Companion Fund and readers of Tuoi Tre Newspaper.

Each first-year student receives a cash scholarship worth 15 million VND. Notably, the program awards 2 special scholarships worth 50 million VND each, spanning four academic years.
In addition to cash scholarships, first-year students also receive practical support from sponsors.

The scholarship presentation ceremony in Lam Dong is the sixth stop in the 2026 "Giving Strength to School" series, part of the 634th "For Tomorrow Development" program organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper.

In 2026, the program plans to award a total of 1,200 scholarships to disadvantaged first-year students nationwide with a total budget of over 20 billion VND, excluding organizational costs, souvenirs, and learning tools.

Among them, there are 25 special scholarships for outstanding first-year students with a total value of 1.25 billion VND, equivalent to 50 million VND per scholarship over four years. This year's program receives joint contributions from various organizations, businesses, partner organizations, charity clubs, readers of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, and philanthropists.

Nationwide in 2026, alongside cash scholarships, partner organizations are also sponsoring 54 laptops, 1,500 backpacks from Nestle Vietnam valued at approximately 250 million VND, and 60 free foreign language scholarships valued at over 1 billion VND.
The 23-year journey of connecting hearts officially started in 2003 with 27 initial scholarships. Over 23 years of operation, "Giving Strength to School" has become a trusted companion to 26,853 poor first-year students overcoming adversity to enter universities and colleges, with total supporting funds exceeding 252 billion VND.
