Export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in 2025 exceeded USD 62 billion, continuing to affirm the important role of the agricultural sector in economic growth.

Participants noted that there are still cases of improper use of codes, while management data remains inconsistent among localities. Post-certification monitoring in some areas also remains limited.
In addition, the capacity for testing agricultural product quality and pesticide residues in several localities has yet to meet practical demands, while investment costs for equipment and human resources remain high.
Representatives of local authorities proposed the early completion of a shared database system for production unit codes, increased decentralization and professional guidance, as well as support for upgrading testing systems, traceability mechanisms and technical workforce training.
Many delegates also recommended accelerating the application of digital technology in managing and monitoring growing regions and packing facilities to ensure transparency, accuracy and convenience for export activities.
