Street Beats and Food Feasts in Mui Ne & Phan Thiet
The atmosphere in Mui Ne and Phan Thiet has come alive with a series of street music performances and a unique food fair, attracting large numbers of locals and visitors. The event is part of the “Destination Experience Month in Lam Dong 2025” under the theme “Lam Dong – Essence United, Emotions Ignited.”

In Mui Ne, the seaside streets glow with colorful stage lights and lively rhythms. Performances by young bands, contemporary dance crews, acoustic artists, and traditional folk groups create an atmosphere that is both energetic and steeped in local identity. Visitors can immerse themselves in the shows, capture memorable photos, and enjoy unique moments right on the street. Street art has become a genuine “Bridging Emotions,” enhancing Mui Ne’s reputation as a lively and appealing destination for all travelers.

In Phan Thiet, the opening night of Street Culture Month at the Lam Dong Provincial Theater and Cultural Exhibition Center drew hundreds of visitors. The food fair featured over 80 booths with regional specialties, OCOP products, and traditional crafts such as farming, pottery, and tò he (colorful rice-powder figurines), alongside stalls from Laos and Thailand.
Guests savored local favorites like bánh căn, bánh xèo seafood pancakes, gỏi cá mai (raw white sardine-like fish salad), and sun-dried squid, while joining interactive activities—from cooking with chefs to learning fish sauce making and pottery. Beyond food, the fair highlighted the cultural richness and traditional craftsmanship that shape local life.

Street Culture Month takes place from September 6 to October 5, with weekend activities across Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Phu Thuy, Tien Thanh, and Hoa Thang. Its highlight, the “Lam Dong Culinary Space,” rotates between Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street (Mui Ne), the Provincial Theater and Exhibition Center (Phan Thiet), NovaWorld (Tien Thành), and Bau Trang (Hoa Thang).
With enthusiastic participation from locals and tourists, the street performances and food fairs are poised to become a signature cultural tourism product, enhancing experiences, extending visitor stays, and reinforcing Lam Dong’s lasting appeal.
