Towards a Vibrant Da Lat Flower Festival Season
The 11th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2026 will extend well beyond its signature programs, featuring a wide range of accompanying events across Lam Dong Province. The expanded celebration is expected to create a vibrant festive atmosphere, showcase local cultural identity and attract visitors from across Vietnam and abroad.

Expanding the Da Lat Flower Festival Across the Province
Under the theme "Da Lat – A Symphony of Flowers and Music," the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival is scheduled to take place in late December 2026.
In addition to 11 flagship programs, the organizing committee has planned 25 supporting events to be held in communes and wards throughout the province. The Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has also assigned local authorities in wards, communes and special administrative zones to develop their own plans for festival-related activities.
Each locality is encouraged to organize at least one event while promoting the campaign "Every Citizen Plants Flowers, Every Home Grows Flowers." Residents are encouraged to decorate homes and neighborhoods with flowers and greenery, creating floral landscapes that will transform residential areas throughout the festival period.
By extending festival activities beyond Da Lat's traditional core, organizers aim to offer visitors broader opportunities to explore local culture while generating tourism benefits across the province. To date, ten communes and wards have officially launched plans to organize activities in support of the festival.
Lang Biang – Da Lat Ward, home to many signature events that have become popular festival attractions, including the Lang Biang Pink Grass Season and the Bareback Horse Racing Festival, is introducing several new community-based programs such as Lang Biang Rose Day, a Lang Biang Culinary and Can Wine Festival, and exhibitions featuring local OCOP products.
According to Cil Poh, Vice Chairman of the Lang Biang – Da Lat Ward People's Committee, festival activities are designed around the concept of connecting places, people and experiences. The flexible and open format allows residents, businesses and visitors to actively participate, helping promote the festival while showcasing local culture, landscapes and tourism resources and fostering a welcoming festival environment.
Festival preparations are also extending to remote communities. In Dam Rong 3 Commune, local authorities have launched the "Green, Clean and Beautiful Dam Rong 3 Welcomes the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival" campaign.
The initiative includes environmental clean-up drives, roadside vegetation clearance, waste collection, tree and flower planting along main roads and at public facilities, as well as community campaigns such as "Flower Roads," "Flower Alleys," "Green Schools," and "Green, Clean and Beautiful Communities."

Since July 2026, the commune has intensified promotional activities through mass media, outdoor advertising, community meetings and cultural and sporting events.
"Given its location bordering neighboring Dak Lak Province, the commune has stepped up the installation of billboards and promotional displays for the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2026. These efforts aim to showcase Lam Dong's cultural heritage, people, natural landscapes, tourism potential and signature products, while further strengthening the Da Lat Flower Festival brand," Nguyen Thi Hong Thuyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dam Rong 3 Commune Party Committee, said.
Promoting Cultural and Tourism Values
After ten successful editions, the Da Lat Flower Festival has become one of Lam Dong's flagship cultural and tourism events, playing an important role in promoting the image of Da Lat and Lam Dong to domestic and international visitors.
Beyond stimulating tourism, the festival honors flower growers and the floriculture industry while promoting local agricultural products and reinforcing the provincial brand "Da Lat – A Magical Crystallization from Good Earth."

A highlight of the 2026 festival will be the combination of traditional cultural activities with contemporary artistic performances.
The festival will feature 11 major programs, including a Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development of the Da Lat Flower Value Chain, the Third Vietnam Brocade Culture Festival, the Vietnam Jazz Festival 2026, and a Festival of Modern Bands and Dance Groups.
Complementing these events will be attractions such as the Tea, Coffee and Wine Street, exhibitions of OCOP products and displays of local specialty products.
With an extensive lineup of cultural, artistic and tourism activities, the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival is expected to attract large numbers of domestic and international visitors, contributing to Lam Dong's target of welcoming more than 25 million visitors in 2026, including over 1.5 million international arrivals, generating an estimated VND 71.5 trillion in tourism revenue.
More than simply a celebration for local residents, the festival is expected to further establish Da Lat and Lam Dong as one of Vietnam's leading cultural and tourism destinations.
