Just after the Tet holiday (Year of the Horse 2026), production activities at industrial parks (IPs) in Lam Dong quickly resumed their dynamic pace. Driven by a resolve to fast-track growth from the very first days of the year, businesses and workers are striving to surpass ambitious targets for 2026.

Quickly gaining momentum

On February 22nd (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), Agriex Co., Ltd., located in Phu Hoi Industrial Park, officially resumed operations. The company specializes in exporting frozen vegetables, fresh produce, and other agricultural products, employing more than 500 workers. All production lines were immediately put back into operation, with a 100% labor return rate ensuring uninterrupted technical processes.

According to Ms. Thai Thi Thao Trang, Director of the company, 95% of Agriex’s products are exported to Japan, while the remainder is destined for Thailand and China. “The company aims to double its output compared to 2025. Therefore, preparations of raw materials and human resources were finalized at the very beginning of the year,” she emphasized.

Similarly, at Trung Cuong EMG Technology JSC in Loc Son Industrial Park, production activities kicked off vibrantly on February 24 (the 8th day of the Lunar New Year). The company manufactures tents and beds for the Ministry of Public Security, as well as uniforms for local militia forces.

According to Deputy Director Ho Van Tan, the company is targeting 150-200% of last year’s revenue. In addition to its current workforce of over 100 employees, it plans to recruit an additional 700-800 workers to fulfill orders already secured for the year.

Maximizing support for enterprises

Mr. Le Hai Ninh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, reported that the province currently has 166 enterprises operating in 15 industrial parks. In February 2026, total revenue is estimated at VND 1.45 trillion (bringing the cumulative figure to VND 3.765 trillion). Export turnover is estimated at USD 29 million (cumulative USD 49 million) while state budget contributions are estimated at VND 99 billion (cumulative VND 191 billion).

Before Tet holiday, security and order across industrial parks were well maintained, and post-holiday labor fluctuations remained minimal. By February 24th, most enterprises had resumed operations. In the “highland and flower-growing regions”, approximately 95% of businesses returned to normal operations. In the coastal zone, five enterprises—mainly in garments, backpacks, handbags, and construction materials—had not yet resumed work, affecting around 2,000 workers, but were expected to restart within the week.

To provide maximum support, the Industrial Parks Management Board proactively coordinated with local authorities to monitor labor conditions and strengthen labor market linkages before and after the Lunar New Year.

The synchronized resumption of factory operations and the shipment of the first export batches of the year not only demonstrate the internal strength of local enterprises but also reflect the solid industrial infrastructure foundation of Lam Dong. These positive signals are expected to create strong momentum for breakthroughs in 2026, contributing significantly to the province’s overall economic growth.
