Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Presents Lunar New Year Gifts to Poor and Policy Families in Lam Dong
On January 22, the Trade Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) organized a Lunar New Year gift-giving program for poor households and policy beneficiary families in Ta Nang and Ka Do communes, Lam Dong Province, on the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year ( the year of the Horse ).

Attending and presenting the gifts were Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thu, Director of the Lam Dong Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies; along with representatives of local authorities from Ta Nang and Ka Do communes.

During the visit, the VBSP delegation directly presented Lunar New Year gift packages to 200 poor households and policy families in the two communes. Each gift was valued at VND 800,000, with a total support of VND 160 million.

On this occasion, the grassroots trade union of the Lam Dong Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies also distributed 190 additional gift packages, each worth VND 1 million, to poor households and policy beneficiaries across the province.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Minh Phuong emphasized that social welfare activities and care for poor households and policy beneficiaries have always been identified as a core and long-term mission of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies.

He added that in the coming time, the bank will continue to work closely with local authorities to implement more practical and meaningful programs, contributing to the effective realization of sustainable poverty reduction goals and the strengthening of social security in the locality.

The Lunar New Year gift-giving program is an annual activity organized by the Trade Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies ahead of Tet. The program not only provides material support but also offers encouragement, helping poor households and policy families welcome the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 in a warmer and more joyful atmosphere.
