Vietnam FesTRIval Lam Dong 2026 Draws 820 International Athletes
Held at Bau Trang in Hoa Thang Commune, Vietnam FesTRIval Lam Dong 2026 brought together more than 820 athletes from 27 countries, marking it one of the region’s most dynamic triathlon events of the year.
The event was co-organized by the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Stop And Sports Co., Ltd., and the Vietnam Triathlon Community (VNTC), attracting both elite Vietnamese triathletes and international competitors.
Athletes competed across multiple distances, including:
- 70.3: 1.9 km swim – 90 km cycling – 21.1 km run
- 56.50: 950 m swim – 45 km cycling – 10.55 km run
- Sprint: 750 m swim – 20 km cycling – 5 km run
Beyond competition, the event aims to provide a professional platform for the growing triathlon community while promoting Lam Dong’s tourism to both domestic and international audiences.

One of the race’s defining features is the swimming leg at Bau Trang—a natural freshwater lake with sandy bottoms—offering a distinctive experience compared to other triathlon venues worldwide.
Meanwhile, the cycling and running segments take place along the scenic Hoa Thang coastal road, widely regarded as one of Vietnam’s most beautiful routes, featuring a striking contrast between vast white sand dunes and the blue sea.

After more than five hours of competition, the organizing committee awarded prizes to individual and team winners across all categories for both men and women.
