Voter turnout in Lam Dong reaches 99.76%
According to the Lam Dong Provincial Election Commission, by 10 p.m. on March 15, 2,572,624 out of 2,578,925 registered voters across the province had cast their ballots in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly, equivalent to a turnout of 99.76%. The provincial People’s Council election recorded the same turnout rate, with an identical number of voters participating.

For elections to commune-level People’s Councils, 2,528,723 out of 2,534,336 voters took part in the vote, equivalent to 99.78%. Across the province, 60 out of 124 communes, wards and special administrative zones, along with 1,959 out of 2,296 polling stations, recorded a 100% voter turnout.

The festive atmosphere of the Election Day was vibrant and solemn at polling stations throughout the province. Voters actively reviewed candidate lists and summarized biographies before casting their ballots, reflecting a strong sense of responsibility in choosing their representatives.

Public opinion among residents remained generally stable and positive, with many expressing their support for and confidence in the election, while also placing expectations on the elected deputies to represent the will and aspirations of the people.

On Election Day, traffic across the province was well maintained, communication systems operated smoothly, and favorable weather conditions created optimal circumstances for voters to participate in the voting process fully and safely.
