Candidates highlighted the development potential of D’ran, noting the commune’s favorable land resources, climate and natural landscapes, which have long inspired artists and supported thriving agricultural production, including well-known vegetables, flowers and fruit crops.

However, voters and candidates also acknowledged existing challenges, particularly inadequate transport infrastructure and limited digital infrastructure, which continue to affect agricultural production. The growing demand for domestic water supply is another issue that requires further investment.
At the meeting, local voters expressed gratitude to provincial leaders and authorities for their timely support during the severe floods of 2025, which helped residents gradually stabilize their lives.

Access to credit and preferential loans for maintaining and expanding production was also raised as a key concern. Voters further called for upgrades to transportation infrastructure and the construction of embankments along the Da Nhim River to improve safety and support development.
Residents also hoped that provincial representatives would help the commune connect with tourism businesses to develop local tourism products and promote cultural heritage.
Responding on behalf of the candidates, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi thanked voters for their constructive feedback and expectations.

He acknowledged the severe challenges faced by residents, particularly the heavy losses caused by the historic flood in 2025, and expressed sympathy with affected communities.
The provincial leader also commended the determination of local authorities in responding to the disaster and supporting affected households, including assistance provided through the “Quang Trung Campaign.”

Chairman Ho Van Muoi noted that while D’ran has strong development potential, its transport infrastructure remains limited, with several roads requiring upgrades. He called for a combination of provincial funding and community contributions to build inter-hamlet roads that would improve mobility and facilitate agricultural transport.
In the short term, he instructed departments and local authorities to review plans to relocate households in high-risk areas and take preventive measures against future floods.
He also called for clearing waterways and irrigation systems while preventing illegal construction that could increase flood risks during the rainy season.

Regarding agricultural development, he emphasized that the province is promoting transport infrastructure improvements and digital technologies in farming and product marketing to enhance the value of agricultural products.
He also encouraged farmers to continue learning and applying new production models while prioritizing safe and sustainable agricultural practices.
“Farmers must place consumers’ health first,” he said, urging producers to follow proper cultivation processes and minimize the excessive use of agricultural chemicals in order to improve product quality and strengthen the reputation of Lam Dong’s farmers.
