Western Lam Dong Opens New Opportunities for Private Sector Growth
Local authorities across western Lam Dong Province are stepping up efforts to create a more favorable business environment, helping the private sector expand sustainably while contributing to local socio-economic development.
Nhan Co Commune Improves the Business Environment
During the first six months of 2026, Nhan Co Commune recorded 165 newly registered household businesses with total registered capital of nearly VND 26.5 billion.
According to Tran Cong Dung, Chairman of the Nhan Co Commune People's Committee, the private sector has been identified as a major driver of economic growth, particularly as new policies introduced by the Government and Lam Dong Province create significant development opportunities.
To support business development, the commune has accelerated administrative reform by simplifying procedures and business conditions while helping household businesses quickly access new investment regulations, business registration procedures and recently revised tax policies.
Local Party committees, authorities and mass organizations regularly meet with enterprises, entrepreneurs and household business owners to understand their concerns and provide support.
At the same time, the commune maintains communication with the business community through social media platforms to provide information on industrial promotion programs, trade promotion activities, production support, market expansion, investment procedures and construction licensing.
These efforts have helped stimulate private-sector production, trade and services, contributing significantly to local economic growth. By the end of the second quarter, the commune's total production value had reached approximately 14.55% of its annual target of 16.72%.
State budget revenue totaled VND 743.264 billion out of the annual target of VND 1.018 trillion, achieving 73.02% of the estimate assigned by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee. Approximately 30% of local budget revenue was generated by private enterprises and household businesses.
Cu Jut Commune Strengthens Support for Enterprises
Similar efforts are being implemented in Cu Jut Commune, where local authorities have intensified measures to assist enterprises and household businesses in resolving difficulties within their authority.
Recently, technical staff helped Minh Phu Livestock Co., Ltd., located in Hamlet 6, K'nia, complete procedures for determining the route of a new low-voltage power line serving production and business activities.
In another case, local authorities assisted Pham Van Hung, a business owner on Tran Hung Dao Street, in completing procedures to put the T2023 electric vehicle charging station into operation, helping meet the growing public demand.
According to Ngo Quoc Phong, Chairman of the Cu Jut Commune People's Committee, the commune is promoting private-sector development based on its strengths in agriculture, forestry, industry, trade and services.
Local leaders and specialized divisions regularly organize meetings with enterprises, cooperatives and household businesses to exchange information and address concerns.
These meetings also provide opportunities to disseminate and assess the implementation of resolutions, decisions and development plans issued by the Government and Lam Dong Province related to agricultural development, the rural economy and policies supporting enterprises, household businesses and local residents.
During the first six months of 2026, Cu Jut Commune processed 158 applications for new household business registration across various sectors.
The commune is continuing to effectively implement Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, issued by the Politburo on May 4, 2025, on private sector development.
Particular attention has been given to strengthening coordination with the Tam Thang Industrial Park Infrastructure Development Company and relevant agencies to promote investment attraction, focusing on enterprises with strong financial capacity and investment experience.
Through this cooperation, local authorities and the infrastructure developer have reviewed the operations of 50 secondary investors in the industrial park, enabling timely support to help businesses overcome difficulties and maintain production.
Creating New Momentum for Sustainable Growth
Beyond Nhan Co and Cu Jut communes, many localities across western Lam Dong are introducing practical measures to foster sustainable private sector development.
Communes and wards are giving greater support to small and medium-sized enterprises while promoting entrepreneurship and innovation.
They are also focusing on developing the local business community, strengthening business networking, promoting local brands and expanding market opportunities by making effective use of economic integration.
These efforts are creating new momentum for economic growth, generating employment and contributing to faster, more sustainable and comprehensive socio-economic development across western Lam Dong Province.
