When Government Leads by Action and Service
Spring always brings a special state of mind—gentle, peaceful, yet filled with expectations. For Lam Dong, the spring of 2026 is even more meaningful. It marks the first spring of a newly merged province, now the largest in Vietnam, encompassing three key centers: Da Lat, Phan Thiet, and Gia Nghia, while bridging the gaps in geography, infrastructure, and development.

Yet those distances are gradually shrinking. Not only through newly built highways and expanding infrastructure, but also through a profound shift in governance—from desk-bound administration to field-based service, from management to facilitation.
Right after the merger, provincial leaders and departments frequently traveled to localities, meeting businesses and residents face-to-face to listen and understand real obstacles. These trips were no longer symbolic visits but genuine dialogues aimed at solving problems at their roots.

The working pace has accelerated. Business dialogues, investment promotion conferences, and administrative support meetings are now held regularly. The most noticeable change is that authorities are proactively reaching out, rather than waiting for people and enterprises to knock on their doors.
A consistent message from Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam is clear: breakthrough development requires institutional change first. It is not about slogans, but a transformation in leadership mindset, practical governance, and the courage to confront bottlenecks—whether in public investment delays, bureaucratic hurdles, or human resource disparities.
This spirit is echoed by Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Van Muoi with a firm commitment:
“When businesses need support, the government is present. When businesses face difficulties, the government stands beside them.”
No empty promises—only concrete actions and persistent solutions.

Moving away from the outdated “ask–give” mentality, Lam Dong is building an enabling and action-oriented government—where procedures are faster and more transparent, infrastructure stronger, the environment greener and safer, and opportunities broader.
The province’s strengths are undeniable: favorable climate, stunning landscapes, tourism potential, high-tech agriculture, vast land resources, and strategic connectivity to the Southern Key Economic Region. But potential only becomes value when awakened by action.

Major infrastructure projects are underway: regional highways, expanded transport networks, the civilian component of Phan Thiet Airport, new urban spaces, and digital transformation in public administration. Transparency and consistency are shaping a more attractive investment environment.
When procedures are clear, infrastructure seamless, and service mindset widespread, trust becomes a magnet for investment and growth.
A greener, more transparent, and more livable Lam Dong will not emerge by chance. It is built through the dedication of government, the boldness of enterprises, and the unity of the people.

Spring is the season of sowing seeds.
And today, Lam Dong is sowing seeds of reform, action, and belief.
